Lothringer13
Rafal Kosakowski developed a comprehensive identity for Lothringer13, the legendary contemporary art space in Munich, curated by Uli Aigner between 2006 and 2010. As opposed to more conventional exhibition approaches—in which the presentation basically supports the concept—Uli Aigner accorded the exhibiting artists a considerably greater degree of personal responsibility. Thus autonomous free spaces were opened up, allowing for their self-appropriation, the taking up of positions, and the creation of public awareness.
